This is the main walkway into Show Memorial Park, where I was trying out my Bessaflex and Pentacon lens. Strange, for Japan, it was almost deserted on a bright, clear but chilly day.
Any time, Roger:-) Reciprocation will be appreciated too. Didn't mean to be harsh, just that I preferred the landscape version. I would have loved to have been there. Honestly, I can't see the "lean"; my balance organs must be fading:-)
I must confess I posted this for the person who was with me rather than in any confidence it was up to standard. It looked straight in the viewfinder but I can see the "lean" now. The path DOES slope slightly, by the way... You're probably right that it can't be saved. Thanks for keeping me honest!
The issue I have with this version is the wasted space at the top. There's a half of the photo which isn't doing anything, in fact I think it unballances all the detail in the bottom half.
Crop at least half of it ;-)

Just read Chris's post, and I see the lean too, in fact I saw it in the other version. I put it sown to the path not being level and therefore an optical illusion.
Is it my eyes, or does this one have a slight lean to the right, Roger? Whatever, it's another interesting and well taken glimpse of your home city. Best regards, Chris
