Project #76 Monumental Statues and monuments can be found everywhere! From little ones in your backyard to very large ones in the town square. Some are simple, some are very ornate. This project is to show your favorite monuments and statues in the most artistic way. Just don't take a snapshot or postcard view, that would be too easy. Use your imagination, play with lighting if you can, go for that awesome shot that will show the object in its best light! (pun intended). Have fun with this one and lets is see some truly monumental images.
This project was requested by Jill Bartlett, have fun.
The new database server has been installed and is now operational!!! You should see an improvement in page loading speeds and searches. We will be optimizing the code over the next few weeks to take advantage of the new features to increase the speed. Many thanks to those few that donated to the cause. We are still taking donations through Go-Fund-Me as the majority of the server was personally funded. Please let us know if you are experiencing any timeouts in your image searches.
Now send an "iogram" Photo E-Card from the site to your friends. Click on the iogram button below the image, fill out the form and hit send.
Scroll down and check out the new "Blast From The Past" section of the home page. Here you will find the older award winning images that we have not seen for a while. Some truly amazing images. Different images are displayed each time the page is refreshed. Enjoy!
The front page now changes images and featured critiques every time it refreshes showing images given awards within the last 30 days. Now every award winner gets a chance on the front page!
