About I took this a couple of years ago when I'd just got my swing-lens panorama camera. Since then I've learned to balance light and shadow areas in the same photo, so I'm uploading this as an example of a good subject for the panorama format. This is one of Japan's most popular shrines, and usually has throngs visiting it. The shrine itself is in the distance, at tne end of the line of stalls.

very cool image, just love all the colors and life ....It's a bit like watching ants, they are all doing something but we only have this voyuristic moment...man i don't know if i could live in such a crowded area. I guess i am just used to all the space we seem to have here in Canada

Very nice symmetric perspective, a delight to see all this on one frame of film.

An excellent 'Rogerama'!!
I like the looks on some of the faces, the colour, the detail, the wide view! So glad you rediscovered it, Roger!
Best regards, Chris
