ooooh, look at the way he's concentrating, or feel the musi, the song as he's performing. Fine DOF and composition, and i do like these kind of images - especially when it's like you can hear the music: as here. Congrats.

Hi Bradley,

I don't normally go for this type of photography but I do actually quite like this series of yours. They are all very atmospheric. Good work, well done.

of course i like the tight composition, and the contrast of his blurred face with the sharper microphone gives this image a special mood,at least for me. your long zoom wide open is not the sharpest tool you can use for available light stage shots, and i think i'd also like this same singing portrait taken with a good prime on real b/w film ;-)
be happy Brad!

Excellent, Brad!

I really like the way you abstracted the scene down to so few elements - face, microphone, and the shapes that make them up. Also, the focus on the microphone, with the face being slightly out of focus, works well for me.

Best regards,
SteveR

Nice contrasting in textures, grain and detail. One sharp and crisp, the other slighty blurred in movement.

Hi there! I like your composition and atmosphere in this shot. The fact that he is blurry is what I like in combination to your compo.

:)

this is a very powerful shot brad. you have the toning perfect and the grain goes with the gritty feel to the shot. Great catch.

Choice one Bradley.
Well exposed.
Forgive me if I've gone on about those primes before (seem to recall I have).
