Marvelous series, Hugo. It reminds me of an experience a few years ago in a cave where a small opening in the roof allowed the sun to beam through a light mist and onto the floor. It was a spiritual feeling and you have captured that quite nicely here. Regards, Mister Ken

Tim.

Stunning image, a little more saturation perhaps, the beam of light is superb but should mean something to the image I'm not sure what you could have done but I feel there is something missing. The decoration on this architecure is wonderfull and well capured. well done. Regards Gary

i forgot to ask.... how did you shoot these wonderful colors with B&W Negative film? ;^)

hugo, excellent lightwork ;^) the interplay in directionality of the light is wonderful. esp. coupled with the intricate and detailed color patterns on the walls. you don't see this very often, never mind capturing it on film. great catch. i want to add this to my favorites but a have a feeling you have more to show us here so i'll wait for the rest of the triptych.

btw, i get the impression that the shaft of light from the lower left corner of the window is not a simple shaft. it looks as if it's a plane of light running down the width of the window. not sure if it's actually there or if it's a visual effect caused by the patterns on the wall. is there a hole in the glass or was this intended by the builder?

excellent shot!

Great image, if you look to the floor the "crossing tiles" are perfect lined with the coloumn, what that?s mean ,a well composed and thought of the perfect angle shot, leaving the "ray" light to impact on the middle of the bottom of the image so to initiate your tracking upwards, again, this is my image, very interesting and beautiful photo,(10/10)Saeed

Hugo,

As always you capture me with your photographs. I like very much how the light enhances the design... And the ray on light pointing to the floor... It is superb!!!

Please don't post photos from Iran, they make me hungry by reminding me of the tastey Kababs they make! :)

I like how you captured the gradual shift from dark to light, then it shines on that part of the wall, which makes it really unique.

A beautiful one...

Now i'm going out to the middle eastern restaurant!

Interesting shot. I like it for the originality of composition, the complexity of the lines the patterns, and the the light that gradually brightens up towards the top of the image.
Mysterious, exoctic, beautiful. I am only wondering about the white object on the bottom of the image. What is it?
P.s. If you're having any problems with the UF new site please report them:

Thank you - Emgy
