About These little beauties called out to be captured. No PhotoShop, straight from the camera. I think I'm gradually getting the hang of macros...

Wow, Michele! I am very excited to hear that. I am sure you will take stunningly beautiful macros and I hope will be able to pick up some hints from you.

Hi Roger, this is well taken and colors looks very natural. I will be getting into the macro world as well soon. :-)

Margaret, I don't "dislike PS work." I dislike over-saturated colours that make images look artificial to me. I regularly do all the things with PS that I used to do in my dark room. But I like to resist the creeping inflation of colour saturation that started when people were given a slider labeled "saturation." It's a habit-forming drug, and people apparently need more and more of it for their "fix" as time goes by. I don't want to appear ungracious but I really don't need to see what flowers look like with additional saturation, I prefer them as they really looked in nature. To be even clearer: I find myself regularly turning saturation DOWN to lessen the over-saturated settings that my local DPE shop uses on its scans to CD-ROM. I'm pretty sure I did so in this case.

Roger this is great, the sharpness/detail and texture are all there. Lovely composition too the dark background and leaves show up the flowers very well. I know you do not like PS work but hope you will forgive me just added a touch more colour as the bottom flower was a little pale, and they are so pretty, and a lovely colour
