Of the two, the panoramic b/w shot is by far my favourite. It has less paving and has a much better composition, much 'artier' if there is such a word. This version I find does not hold my attention too much. The yellow grabs my eye and the rather dull grey of the lower half doesn't have the power to make me look further down in the frame.

b/w pano is best by far.

I think this is better than the panorama but the web doesn't do justice to the panorama shots. I like this because I can see more of it and I like those wintery colors plus it has a certain quietness about it...rog

Both pictures has something special. In the B&W version, fits the composition with more water.The colored one is more filled with the people and the birds and i like this one in color very much!
