About This was taken facing the other direction from the first "Nob's Hill" photo. Strange how the colour balance is so different towards the LH side of the frame!

I'll reply to Bertram's comment about the lens: Since you have a standard 45mm lens AND the equivalent of a 25mm lens in coverage but on a negative nearly 7cm long both in the same camera, it does seem to me you get the best of both worlds. The 30mm lens (equivalent of a 17mm) is as expensive as some Leica lenses, but again very, very good. And the 90mm lens is fine for portraits and--strangely enough--for panoramas in the mountains, where it brings up the details of distant mountain ridges. I think this Hasselblad Xpan/Fuji TX-1 is a uniquely satisfying camera and I find myself picking it up every time. I also quite like the motor drive and the aperture-priority auto exposure now that I'm used to them. To the others, thank you for your kind comments.

Seems one has just to find the right subject to show the true magic of this format.
Your composition is perfect. This lens seems to belong to that handful of world's best, together with the 3.5/50 Heliar. As far as I remember it's the highest rated lens in german Photo Magazin (10/10)In times of thinking about getting rid of all the many cameras (sweet illusion)this one belongs to those which could be the one-fits-all-solution.

Nicely composed shot, Roger. I'm really enjoying your panoramas.
This looks like a particularly 'grey day'.
Kind regards,
Chris
