About No PS (except to crop and frame). This is a CD with a light shone at it, photographed through a PWB filter. In case you are not familiar with this filter, it produces the effect of an image shot through a Plastic Water Bottle, hence the name. The filter is disposable and should be thrown away after a few uses before you get bored of it.

Oh, and thanks for the comment on the presentation. I really appreciate it as I've received quite a lot of negative comments on it in the past, although I still believe it is appropriate for this style of image.

Many thanks, Pradnya. Actually, it really is a plastic water bottle, a CD and a bright light - all that stuff about a filter was just a silly joke... Seems we have some photographic interests in common!

Excellent use of that PWB filter, AJ. I can almost feel the plastic here, and the colors are stunning.

I see you are taking this project very seriously and developing some original "perspectives" on objects that make them quite unrecognisable! I'm impressed that they make such beautiful images.

Thanks for your comment, Cameny. It could be because I was hand holding the camera (couldn't get the tripod into the tight space I was working in) and hand holding the bottle - this is actually just an image of the bottom of the bottle viewed from inside, with the light reflected off the CD below it.

Really nice abstraction AJ, I just miss some sharpness here, I don't know if this filter is the reason for it, or it was just slightly out of focus. One way or another, very successful work.

Very colorful abstract! The colors are nice. The effect appears wet! Almost like wet paint.

Thanks for your comment Saeed. I guess it's time to add a bit about the "filter". This was supposed to be a joke: all I really did was cut the top off a water bottle and stick the camera lens inside.

Thanks for the idea Sally! In Poland, no one much goes for olives in their vodka - apple juice or bison grass (don't ask...) OK, but not olives. Maybe the glasses are too small, which means they could make a big splash!!!

What a fun image! Very abstract, lots of great color. I wonder what would happan if you rotated the filter while the shutter is open....

Really nice effect. And you're right, the effect is so strong that it could become repetitive if used too often. Have a great swirling day....Andree
