Hey Bro,
to be honest, it wasn't exactly daylight - 10 mins later, the sun went down. But my rework makes this image a daylight one, so you're right anyway.
I like your rework a lot, gives the scenery a more surrealistic look. will keep your partial blur/vignetting idea in mind. very cool effect.

Hi bro, great comp and I like the colors. Must admit, that I have mixed emotions with daylight concert shoots. Music and daylight dosn't work together IMHO. I'm struggling with all my Stevens Garage images, too. Looks like I've used flashlight (brrrrrr). I like Gayle's idea. B&W was also in my mind when I saw it. This is my version.

thanks for the feedback. You're right about the "About" comments. Helps sometimes to understand why one made the photograph. I know that this is kind of simple and "quiet" picture but that's exactly why I upload this picture.

Rock'n Roll ist vermutlich keine Frage des Alters ;-)
Ich muss zugeben, dass mit meiner Kamera nur ein Anschnitt möglich war. aber im nachhinein finde ich das sogar sehr passend, besser, als mit so einem fetten fischauge noch mehr bühnenequipment drauf zu hauen. ;-)

hey, a personal rework for me. too much honor ;-)
While I like the idea of the Beatles, I personally find the vignetting a bit hard here as some details get lost in this way. Your version is a more focussed one, mine takes the whole scenery and the small details into consideration. so I think there is room in this world for both variants.

die menge schreit schon nach einer zugabe, ich kann's genau hören...
auch wenn ich nicht mehr der jüngste bin, kann ich guten gewissens in jugendlicher artikulierung festhalten: das bild rockt...!
finde die vorgeschlagene s/w-version zwar auch nicht schlecht (vor allem auch wegen des beleuchtungseffektes) aber die farben gehören hier unbedingt auch dazu finde ich. hatte erst etwas gezweifelt wegen des angeschnittenen notenständers und der ebensolchen kabeltrommel aber je länger ich hinschaue, desto besser gefällt mir das so...

Dear Katee,
thank you very much for your lenghty and intimate feedback. I'm not involved in concerts or the bands in that way, but as I saw the empty place after the concert I thought about the spirits still hanging around and me trying to capture and preserve some of the feelings.

Great composition Thilo, oh go on ... just one more "thwang" on the electric guitar with the volume turned up pretty high :-)
I used to play keyboards for a group but wish I had learned drums or guitar !!

You know I love to go to shows and I love traveling with the bands. And everytime I go I usually take a few shots simalar to this one. I love yours very much. I think that a picture like this is more intimate than most see. It captures the objects that bring a person amazing amounts of gratifacation and a way to express who they are as an ode to the universe in some shape or form. Well done. Congrats.
