About This guy wasn't going to stay still. No way I could get close to him so I had to resort to using my zoom lense. I thought this picture turned out rather like a fantasy with the light creating a glow around the dragon fly. Very difficult to focus too since the wings are so transparent and there's not much of a body. Comments please.

studff like this is very very hard to shoot, Iv messed with dragon flies myself long ago, I do have a suggestion for you, not only about this, but most shots, if your going to shoot something in direct sunlight,I like to have it Back lit, and shoot into the shade if possable, but the best time to get out and take photographs is early morning, or evening, before it gets dark, the light is so much softer, harsh sunlight kinda blows stuff away, keep in mind that suggestion, and see what happens to your photos :) an example of what I mean, is the flight of the honey bee photo I shot,, thats direct sunlight, but shot into the shade,, check it out,, youll see what I mean
