This image is cleverly thought out and very well set up. It results in an intriguing structure and the rainbow colours add to the appeal. An excellent photograph - I trust the exhibition was a success!

Great abstract Julie. Suggestions:
1. Correct the tilt in the central rod.
2. If we begin at the bottom center spike and go anti-clockwise upwards, the third spike has a smeared base. ??

Thank you Bobot. Actually the skeleton of the umbrella is black, the rainbow was created by the reflection of the sun (the umbrella is multicolored). The umbrella was on the floor as I took the picture with the sun hitting it and I over exposed the background to get this effect.

Every now and then a photographer comes out with an image that screems "Unique!" this is the one. If you could get other objects and do the same, you could make a name for youself with this style. Well done. I hope to see more of this series. :)

Hi Gary, I am trying to post a "normal" picture of what this is but it is not allowing me to so here's the secret ;)
It is a rainbow umbrella upside down. I got this but facing it to the sun where I saw the reflections of the colors of the umbrella on the black wiring and I over exposed by 5 stops so the background would completely dissapear.

This is an interesting image, sort of a cross between science and art. Can't think what it is but the colours are real nice. The frame adds to the presentation.
