About 5 Pointz is a living collage of graffiti art covering a converted warehouse full of artist studios. The art of famous and novice graffiti artists covers the building's facade, all done with the encouragement of the building's owner. One must have a permit to graffiti around this area.
The building behind the wall is the Citicorp building standing at 658-foot built in 1989, this building is the tallest in Long Island and in New York City outside Manhattan.

Now I see what I all missed my sweety:)
Whole onversations and a lot of stairs to take:))
Beautiful artwork there, we have the same idea when buildings take a lot of time to restore, it looks so
happy and colourful instead of all these grey fances around!
Wishing you a hard days work...loll and a relaxing evening, lots of hugs and kisses, Jenxx

It'll be usefilm ;-)

Two different laptops :-), and one other LCD screen.

If I want to get really serious I plug into my HD Plasma screen, it has even bigger tonal range, and 42 inches, so see every little detail :-)

3 monitors, damn! what are you, a stock broker? haha. I am not sure my friend, I wasn't using a filter :(

Dan Wilson Dan Wilson   {K:21104} 5/28/2008
Maybe filter giving that effect??? Or sometimes I notice the image changes when uploaded to usefilm.

Not my monitor(s) ;-), I have three and it looks that same on all of them. I have them very carefully calibrated :-)

xxoo, Dan

Hi Nicki, around that area people can only graffiti with a permit so the people that are working around there are real artists. I met a few of them and we talked for a while, their initiative is wonderful, it made me look at graffiti in a whole new way. I don't appreciate when it is done to "destroy" public areas but in this place it was amazing.
I hope you had a good weekend my friend. Hope your mom is doing well.
Having my 3rd cup of coffee now :)
Thanks Nicki for stopping as always my friend.
Big hug,
Julie.

Hey Dan, I see what you mean about the building but it wasn't my focal point so it doesn't bother me as much. I didn't do any highlighting at all, maybe just your monitor? hmmmmmm....
Thanks for your critique my friend, much appreciated!
Big hug,
Julie.

Hi my dear Julie, that building is in a funny spot, bit too central and distracting, it also looks to me that you have higlighted your image which has made the building more bold and made the sky look a little unrealistic.

I love the idea, and the colours. Hugs Dan

hmmmmm my dear student, I think if you don't like graffiti it will be hard for you to appreciate this picture where my main focal point is the wall. I think he building could have been a bit more to the side but then again the building isn't my focal point so it doesn't bother me as much. Is that a good explanation my dear student?
:)
Hugs and kisses,
Julie.

I dont know teacher. Something bugs me but i dont know what it is. Im not a fan of graffiti so im trying to put that aside. Maybe its the building in the background. Not in right place? I will wait for your answer :))))) Hugs xx Keith:) :)

Muy interesante, dudo un poco sobre el edifico al medio, si no estuviera tal vez sería mejor, solo una sugerencia.
