Don't confuse Cosina with the Cosina-made Voigtlander lenses. The latter are often comparable with Leica lenses at a fraction of the cost, and one of them, the Heliar 50/3.5 was tested as the sharpest lens EVER by Practical Photogaphy. I have this lens and it is truly wonderful (see my "Shoeshine Lady" photo). "Cosina" lenses are a whole rank below this but quite good performers and fantastic value...

Very good perspective with this wide lens, nice angle of view. I am surprised about the Cosina lens, usually they are the lower cost/quality. Nice shot.

And John Miller has a good suggestion. This would make a terrific panorama. --G

These are wonderful places for photos, and you've captured some of the quirkiness and interest--architectural, decorative and human. Best wishes, --George

Neat angle, I like the perspective used in this shot, as all of the elements work well together; the composition of the shot, the angle of the banners, and the horrizontal structure, as well as the escalator pair. Really nice Roger.

You did well Roger. The color is what caught my eye first. I wondered at first if it was in error but I now know that you saw it that way. Isnt it strange how we photographers will notice that sort of lighting out in the world? I wonder what percentage of photographers will sense it versus the percentage of ... oh lets say violinists. Merry Christmas JB

Yes, certainly unusual and interesting. (And the escalator could be a subject for that vertical panoramic format...?)
With best wishes for Christmas, John

Roger, this would have been very "japanlish" if there were some mannequins instead of people on those escalators.Anything goes when it comes to Shibuya!A great capture of reality! Best wishes from Gabriela

This is an odd and interesting scene! I like the still pose of the person on the down escalator
