Thanks for visiting, Cessy. I couldn't crop out the power lines without removing too much of the bush with its red flowers, so I left them in. They are almost everywhere in Japan, so that we who live here hardly notice them any more. And you know I don't believe in cloning things out to create an image that is untrue to reality...

Nice capture Roger, Very good of you to share this images of ordinary scene in Japan. I see the water is looking clear and is moving, I also see the flowers on the sidewalk, they really catch attention. The electric post and wire is almost always a problem at least here in my country, where they obstruct a lot of good view, i see that you have them there also...: )
