A female and a male!!! would have been a good sight if they were taken together, i guess they are having LQ to have been flying different way as u captured them separately :)or maybe she saw a more goodlooking male on sight taking a picture of her ?:).But definitely the female version is more beautiful LOL.

Thanks Yamil, well you were there so im sure you have simular :), HMB was good as we say a red shoulder as we first got there but flew quick, a few red tail ops, one really close as he flew right by us and around the top, the pelicans were out but the weather got bad fast so we headed back over to the east bay, Jinggoy took a shot in which i have never seen before, though it was a bit far out I think you should ask him for a look at it, The mature harrier transfered a mouse to the juvinille in mid air, but not a typical hand off but a mid air drop and catch by the younger one behind, his shot shows the two birds one behind the other and the mouse in mid air between the two, right between when the adult dropped it and the juvi caught it. awesome stuff, I totally missed the shot as I was watcing but on the phone with R.......

Terrific shot Marcus,
I don't think this shot can be improved, although you are a perfectionist and I am sure you may disagree with me.
Definitely one of the best NH that I have seen
There is a bloody spot in its feather near its legs. I am guessing it came from a previous meal, hopefully not from a previous fight.
Congratulations for this great capture.
BTW, how was HMB?
Yamil

Hi Marcus,
It's been a while since I've browsed through your portfolio, but I see you're still taking some great bird flight photos. Impressive panning skills to maintain such clarity and sharpness. It's also great to see so many variety of birds within the Bay Area which I would probably never see (or know about) without your photos. Thanks also for your recent comments on my photos.

Beautiful wildlife capture, your captures are certainly first rate, you make it look so easy, yet, I know its not, keep up the gallery quality work.

I actually wanted two that looked simular to each, give me honest opinion. Hey I could not find that egret pond again, man Im a loser with directions LOL..
Please feel free to call me If you want to join us or me earlier..

Perfect, warm, earthtoned colors and exposure is spot-on too . . . and a bit tricky by the looks of it with the lighting conditions. A beautiful bird.
