Wow Marcus, beautiful in EVERY way! And I know that this is not easy to do......I tried to get a good shot of a red-shouldered hawk today, they were all over the place and every time I stopped to shoot them, they would fly!!! Very very skiddish! I thought of you and your beauties each time one of these guys took off! Wonderful work my friend! Darlene

No Im not arguing iwth you, only having fun, us bird shooters do not have any projects to post under so we have to always choose something that does not apply. as far a the zebra, a photo won that award earlier. I think this hawk has many patterns within the feathers, all the lines and rows of colors make wonderful patterns but that only my opinion, maybe next time i will post it under architecture, or night photography maybe still life even though its moving LOL.. Im just having fun. I appreciate your comment.. take care Kiarang..

Hi Marcus, I didn't tell any thing about Zebra, and don't think that zebra can appear a pattern, the mention of the project is "Mother nature provides some of the most interesting patterns and designs", so i think some things like the feathers or zebra wehn they are attractive in the project that makes a harmony with some other lines and textures in the nature, no with empty sky. anyway, i always enjoy your works, just was some corious about the project you have used. thanks Marcus!

You dont see the patterns in the feathers? LOL If a zebra can qualify so can a hawk, there are actually more patterns... Take care..

A fine catch. The wings in this position give him a very muscular appearance that adds to his already impressive presence. Best wishes, --George
