Thanks Todd . I agree with the DOF . I ended up shooting it this way for two reasons . First , there was a slight intermittent breeze , and I was concerned that by going to F22 or so , and increasing the exposure time , I would get an image blur . Second , it was the last shot on this roll of film so I decided to play it safe :)

Great composition and colours in this shot, Rob. A bit more DOF might have put the whole flower into focus. Stunning, none the less.

Excellent macro, love the desat background to show off the beautiful flower. I really like the way it is composed and the colour and detail are excellent.

What a flower - even has it's own protection. The dof chisels this floral out with fantastic details to make it pop off the page yet still so tender with your color tones. love it!
