About Another bird shot from my back yard . This image was captured in the very early morning light . The Dove is backlit somewhat , but I had no choice .

Elder Years? HA! Okay you're going to make me explain... Personal perspective...you have a backlite dove...most beginners would end up with a silhouette, or a washed-out image while trying to recover from that... Capturing the aperture, while maintaining color balance, while utilizing the backlight to create a halo around the bird is no easy feat...Take a compliment...! The fathers are distinct, displaying the beautiful layering birds have...And lastly, "that" moment where the Dove appears to be staring at you, in focus... Could the background been better?...absolutely! And if you're getting fussy, then you are getting better, because then you are having good shots as the norm, and great ones in a timely fashion...

Cheers,

Bill

Thanks Bill . I am not so sure that this is a great shot . Tough to do ? Yes . Great ? Well there's certainly always room for improvement . I guess I an getting somewhat fussy in my elder years :) Thanks for your support . I appreciate it .

Hi Again Rob: Wonderful capture of this Dove... One small comment...stop apologizing for making a great shot. You had to deal with some tough lighting, and pulled it all together to make a great shot...that's what Photographers do... Your work just gets better and better... :-)

Cheers,

Bill

Very good capture of this dove. The DOF is wonderful, allows the bird to pop out of the frame. You compensated for the back light very well
