Thanks Jan :) The way I get the effect on my tulip shots is mostly my camera. It has a super macro mode with a very short focusing distance. It's the main reason I bought that camera. Again, if you ever want any help with PS I'm willing to help :)

Opal - it is a delight to look through your portfolio. I do try and check it every day to see what you have uploaded. I have not yet been disappointed - your photos are great, and it is difficult deciding favorites - so I don't.

Thanks Tiffany - one day you are going to have to explain (in simple English) exactly how you achieved the results you did with your tulip photos. I have PS 7, but perhaps I need to upgrade to the newer version - in addition to getting a more "grown-up" camera. LOL

Mary - thanks, but this little guy lives in a small wooden barrel that sits on a table. Guess you could fall in to by accident. Or do what I did, and get an ouch by trying to pull a few stray weeds out of the pot. LOL!!!
