Evelyn - thank you for the kind words. Not so sure about heroic tho - foolish may be a better word. This blond gets heatstroke and sunburn very easily. Next time I will be prepared with sunsreen, long sleeves, hat, and water. Jan

Hakan - the florals in your portfolio are so lovely that I was not able to choose a favorite. Thank you for the nice comments, and for sharing your florals with us. Jan

Another beauteous bounty. This rose seems rather shy holding two petals like hands modestly over its heart but the fire is still visible. Nice title. You were heroic out there in that heat :)

Thanks for the comment Peter - I am looking forward to seeing some more of your roses (considering I have to receive cut roses as a gift or "borrow" them on camera from public rose gardens...). I also look forward to seeing what your wife does with her new camera. What did you get her? What have you heard about the Canon Digital Rebel XT - especially for macros? I haven't used one yet, but it felt like it was the right size for my hands. Jan

Wonderful Photograph Janice, Great colors and clarity and Composition.

I've been getting some more roses. I've got a series of the double delight (changes from pink to deep red) coming up. I got my wife a new Camera she's a shootin'. will set up her own login...

Thanks for sharing? Thanks for the wonderful comment on my Cactus Photograph.
GOD Bless?
Your friend, Peter
