About This is a shot of some of those Easter flowers I received - and used them to try yet another PS framing technique. I know that the top right side of the larger flower is a little blown from where the light was hitting, but couldn't get it adjusted right in PS, so left it alone.

Weird, Mary - the photo I attached was a reduction of a copy, etc. etc. and the flowers looked awful in the upload - not at all like the original - but I didn't want to spend much more time looking for the original than what I did spend. Anyway. I agree. The original frame was too busy for the flowers, and the plain black is much better. Live and learn. Practice, practice. Try, fail, try again. Jan

Yes, Janice--better. The left flower is not cut off and the darker background seems to be more effective with this.

Peter, you and Mary are on the same wave length - let me see if I can attach a different version to this reply to you. See what you think.

Wonderful Photograph Janice, Great colors, clarity and Composition. I feel the outer part of the frame is too clear, maybe extend the edge haloing...

Thanks for sharing?
Your friend, Peter

Mary - taking another look at this I think you are right. I hope I have been able to attach one that has more oomph. If it works - see what you think. Perhaps the frame is just too busy for such a busy bunch of flowers. Jan

It's pretty, Janice. But of the 3, this doesn't have the same oomph for some reason. I'm not sure why, so that's no help is it? I like seeing your experiments.
