Another superb shot! You have some great stuff in your portfolio! I lov the way the boat and its wake lead the eye around the central subject brfore coming to rest on the castle on the island. Wonderful and clever use of the subject!

Nice shot, the way you have taken it with the boat included, gives us a bit of feel for the size, plus adding some nice movement to the picture. The details in the picture are amazing, all the little ripples on the water and the tones of the rocks. very beautiful. Alison

I see that you also captured an isle similar to my last photo, well, mine is in a river.
Even so, it's a very nice photo. Wonderful place, I believe.
Good colours and detail.
It seems that you did a crop from the picture that we can see below. I would do a widder crop, panomara size. I think that could transmit your capture/idea much more.

HI Lucas, This area is really a bay on the shore of Lake tahoe which is the largest lake in califonia, It acually sits right on the border of Calif and Neveda, I took this picture from a road up above that goes around the whole lake, I will post a wide angle picture to give you a better perspective...

Great image. I think the cropping is just right, and the colors are great. Just wondering though, were you in an aircraft of some sort, or just on a high vantage point? I'm not familiar with the area.

Thanks for you comments Marcus, my favorite thing about this image is the small structure in the top middle-right of the island, it adds a nice aged touch to the island, I'm not sure if it would convey that feeling better without the powerboat or not, good work,
