Hi Marcus,

When I first commented on this one, I didn't realize how good an action shot this was. Now that I know the bird has actually been caught feeding, it is even more amazing.

No I just spend hours when I could be doing somthing more constructive :) shoot enough shots and you are bound to get a good one....
well my last shot after this was my first shot I can say was pure luck, I was putting my gear away and turned around for a sec and that hawk was 10 yard in front of me and almost hovering...
Thanks....

Marcus, You are good! To be able to capture them skimming. I've seen them but could never capture it. How far away are you from them to get so clear a shot. The only time I've seen them close is off a bridge and they either are too close or move to fast away. They are cool and you have captured it perfectly. Marilyn

Caught superbly!!! But we all go down with the question. Did he got the fish? Maybe a shot some seconds afterwards will solve our question.
Wonderfull work!!!

Rare they may be but it seems you can get them to perform to order. Another sensational shot Marcus, technically perfect in every way. But then your shots always are. Well done.

What a great shot...as usual Marcus. Wow, you have a talent with birds. It always looks like they stopped in mid air just so you can get the perfect shot of them. Wonderful!

Seriously Marcus,
Another great image from you! I wish I had the same kind of luck with the Terns yesterday. I went to try twice, but they didn't get anywhere near close enough. Next week I will have to bring a bucket of fish with me :)
