i think the 1/500 sec. was not eough to freeze the action .. such an action needs 1/2000 sec and higher shutter speeds.
i don't like to exceed iso 400 as noise becomes horrible!

I like this picture very much. Your timing on this shot is awesome and your colors seem to be realistic to me. The stopping action almost gives the appearance that this bird lowered it's head into a hole in the water. Very unique and original picture. Regards Lee

very nice capture ..i like the action and swan details which is still clear for me. i wished to be more forward forcused. but its good and i think sometimes u cant really put ur foucs wherever u want in fast actions. good attemp. thanks
