Just discovered your images- amazing. Eye openers and so refreshing. The ideas just wonderful. I love the piano and have never seen an image like this. It is so striking and beautifully done.

A nicely balanced composition gives this image a sound foundation.

Amazing what you can find abandoned in the woods! :) I like the disorienting feeling of the sideways trees - made me do a double-take!

The only reason why I thought it had been rotated is cause the trees are in an horizontal position.

Poor piano, half destroyed and abandoned, definitely deprived of its sound that once must have been so very beautiful.
What a superb shot and what a great idea you had when you decided to rotate the image!
Very original and creative work, my dear!
Hugs - Emgy

Wow, a piano lying on its back, abandoned...Kinda like a turtle turned over, helpless. I don't know it that's a good analogy, or a pathetic one. Bottom line, it is thought provoking. ...Brad

Great shot Sandy. Using the piano to create minimal space was a great idea. Keep it up!

Forget about spatial references. I can't get my bearings. It's difficult enough to play the piano, but when it's an upright lying on its back it becomes impossible. Luckily, it's still fodder for your photo cannons.

Hi Sandy. Good to have you back! Hope it's not temporary, or will you return to PP? Very strong image, and an intriguing and unusual composition, but this choice fits very well with the title (obviously, it works the other way around...;o) I admire the choice of "rotating" this shot, it creates a very appealing photo, and it emphasises the atmosphere. Well done!

Cheers,

Hugo
