Hi Roger, well my zenitar 16mm fisheye will be on eBay shortly. I can't afford to have is kill my camera again, so I bought the Sigma 17-35mm zoom instead.
However, this is a very nice effect, the lean of the trees on the left is just about at the limit of whats acceptable, but what impresses me most about this is the tones you have captured especially on the path. The exposure is spot on.

Nice depth to this shot... could have been shot "flatter" but you got the angle just right !

I think that the overall outcome is magnificent. Although a fisheye it'snot too pushed and the greenery make a nice swirl,while the center of the ohoto is straight. Great job,Roger! Congrats,Antonella

I like this one - the fisheye lends a strangeness to the atmosphere without seeming gimicky as such things have the tendency of becoming...

An interesting experiment, Roger. As you say the nature of the greenery masks any obvious curvature. It doesn't seem such a bad lens even if its purpose is a bit specialised. Anyway, what I like here is the slightly sequestered feel of the place and all the lovely tones of grey you have captured in your image. Best wishes. David.

I like this one best of the two Zenitar shots, very nicely made B&W
wide angle shot. This lens is an astonishing thingy ! You use it with M42, is ist also available on M39 ? Also seducing, my heart's so easily to set on fire if good and affordable stuff is in sight........... :-))
