First of all, I absolutely LOVE the ring and the earing. What style! And next - this portrait seems so *classic*. It's like a painting you'd expect to find in some old mansion. I love your textures too - are they added after in ps?

We can see that she is far, probably with him. Amazing how you've captured her deepest emotions. I keep looking into her lips and just cannot believe what you have done with them. Master Peta, this is a piece of art. Hugs and thank you, Marília

The portrait is strong and delicate at the same time, the colors are rich and soft, I like her pose and the coupling between ring and earring. Bye Max

This is another excellent portrait Peta, and I can see why you've put it in the "Intimate" category. I think the earring works very well with the rest of the picture even without an explanation. I sure do like the warm earth tones you use in many of your portraits, and you also use grain and textures very effectively. Nice work. Cheers. Craig

P.S. -- Hi ya, Peta:
Yup, it seems there is laughter and magic everywhere she goes. Halloween was no exception. I left the DVD player with the "Rocky Horror Show" ready to go and went to bed. Apparently she and her friends watched it all -- which wasn't appreciated by their parents. I really love being subversive. Best, Jim.

Beautiful portrait with soft colours and mood.
Peta, yes, my Oly 5050 doesn't focus too well in lowlight conditions if there isn't enough contrast. I Little woman I used just an ordinary 40 W bulb. And at ASA 400, my Oly makes too much noise... I like my Oly, but love my filmcameras :-).
