Well of course I did use PS to add the border - but no - this is a scan from the original 35mm slide (circa 1975)and is quite accurate. BTW your portfolio is very diverse - AND interesting.
All of my images are as close to REAL as I can remember- there is always a need to "adjust" when scanning and from digital images. But you know that already. I worked professionaly in the photofinishing industry and know just how bad some printers are - I make notes on the day of the original photography as an aid to my memory, as to what the colours/contrast should be. Even so - landscape images are very subjective.
In printmaking we have all heard stories of the guy who went to a lot of trouble to remove the green cast from the picture of the French Poodle, only to be berated by the owner "What have you done to my green dyed dog" ?. It's happened to me :-) But I do try to get my lanscapes as accurate as I can.
As to your portfolio comment "I don't do Weddings" - well at least with weddings and portraits you can always go back and compare skin tones (unless the groom has has a few to many Fosters).

Never got the chance to visit that part of Tassie, and you're making me regret it even more! The centred composition works well here, but it feels too tightly cropped at the top and bottom.

I think the clouds and dark sky add a certain Drama.
As for Mark Beltran's comment on a desire for a better sky.
Sorry but this is what God gave on that day and it was after a
10 day walk (backpack) to get here. :-)

This is a beautifully executed color landscape. The exposure's nicely balanced to allow for both dark and lighted areas. If I had to pick on anything, it would be for a better sky.
