Beautiful David. This is well composed and I'd venture to say this is one of the best uses of slow shutter speed for effect I've seen in quite some time. Too slow or not slow enough would be seen much more frequently . . . but this is awesome. The strong diagonals also seem to help the composition too. Well captured - Well Presented!

Ali, Thank you - I see you are very active on Usefilm. I also fully understand what you wish to do for Rashed - you brother. To honour him, Let me say - when I was 26 I had a very close friend who took his own life he was 26 also - I realise that Rashed did not pass from our world this way. But - my friend was sadly missed and in a way similar to you I also felt the need to share my friends photographic work so that his memory would persist. However after 2 years some of MY friends said - David ,it is time to show the world what you have to offer - it made me realise that as much as I wished to honour and respect my friend that it was now time to honour his memory in a different way and that was to present to the world my own personal vison of what I saw. May I be so humble and respectfully suggest that YOU, Ali- can honour Rashed by joining with us and taking YOUR own photopgraphs and sharing them with us. I hope I have been able to explain properly what I mean. sincerely - david -- dtasker@netspace.net.au

Hi Joggie. Thanks for your input - I am finding usefilm.com an interesting place to meet people BUt there seems to be very little quality commentry. If you look at "recent" photographs anything with a pretty girl in it gets lots of views ( hey - I look at them) and they also get lots of comments. Traditional landscapes seem not to have a lot of interest - unless you do a sunset - hahah Might be a good idea if we email each other - dtasker@netspace.net.au Kind Regards David
