Thank you everyone, wonderful comments all! My 'model' loves that you like her old photo too. I think it is better toned down a little from the one I can elsewhere. ;)

Exceptional Peta. I usually prefer "straight" stuff, with little PS, but this works so well and is so fitting for the overall image. Beautiful.

Yep... great composition with classical quality to it. The only thing missing is lighting which should have been more sculptural. This way the image is too flat, but the painterly effect in PS (or was it Painter) saved it.

This is definately one of your best Peta, it has all the essential elements, and plenty of others too. I love it, you have done a good PS job on it too, I think the original frame was very creative and really went well with this. A really great image - Richard.

Very exotic mood captured and manipulated here, it would be lovely printed on watercolor paper. The cropping is so nice, I like that you haven't chopped off the top of her head. The skin tones are so soft and go so well with the lush green cloth. Having a daughter myself I know how much they love to play dress up and are able to create the most fantastic costumes from simple things, a bolt of cloth here, a feather there -- you were lucky to capture this and I know you will cherish it for a long time. Too bad they grow up so fast.

Thank you everyone for liking this. I appreciate so much the support at this site. It's so great. :)
For Elizabeth...the frame...the (in)famous frame. :) At another place in time, some sorta hated my frame so decided to leave it simple. I photographed the fabric and created the framing in PS(in the middle of the night!).

One of my favorites Peta. Where's that creative frame? I thought that added so much to the overall composition. Still, a great photo. Yes, does look painted.
