WHOA! Now thats a good capture. - I like the sides makes you focus on your subject and lets you know what he is next too.. the amazon. But this is a great capture.. cant wait to see more!

i think it's magnificent in being extremely unique. a photographer is best described as taking a moment in time and capturing it in somewhat of an unique way that makes the mind tick. everyone sees something differently and i think for this shot you did superb.

Good travel pic. It doesn't seem too happy to be discovered.
Somehow the composition seems awkward, though I appreciate you didn't have much time to compose. The two sides add little. Perhaps a vertical composition would have worked better, maybe a wide angle if you were brave enough to get a lot closer. However I know those babies have teeth and strong jaws. Typical high contrasts of mid-day sun detract from showing detail. Remind me never to wade through water in the Amazon.
