About This is the engine room of the Polar Star Ice Breaker. The tanks that you see here are actually the boilers used for the desalination process. Capturing the steam from these boilers and rendering clean salt free water.....this was not a cool room to hang out in. It was hot even in the Antarctic....

Hi Debarshi,

Sorry, I posted this as a D300 image accidentally..I did just get a D300 but this shot is from the old D80. The D300 would not be this grainy...In fact it would not have any discernible grain even up to 800 ISO

Can this be by Tim Schumm? The Tim I used to know? What makes me wonder is the rather low saturation of the colours... (grin) I see the beautiful Nikon 12-24 is still doing you proud.
