Yes.... Dave... You are very good and I thought you weren't "into" poetry... :) remember? Yet you write beautiful deep poetry! The image is great. Your type of nightmare? Oh, it is beautiful to me! :) Not like anightmare but dark spider web beginnings... love it!
I am off to bed now to face my own nightmares... dawn is here. I am a creature of the night.
Good morn... bad mourn...
If only I could capture how I feel in words or pictures...

Oh come on, Sheryl, this is the perfect bedroom piece. :)
Speaking of Daisies, I was all set to comment on your photo of the Daisy earlier today but Diablo has been very sick and have been tending to him.
Thanks, Dave

Creepy...good, but creepy. Definately wouldn't want this hanging next to my bed! :) Great match with the poem though...nice work Dave. I'll go back to my daisy now...thinking happy thoughts...kitties playing, scurrying around, a leaf just fell and hit the ground... Okay, so I stink at poetry... ;) ~Sheryl

For Pete's sake Dave...take off the heels!!! You can run so much faster without them!!!
In the earlier days, when my anguished teenage soul (titter giggle ahem snigger) was experiencing the trials and tribulations that so often come at that age, I used to try my hand at poetry too! I think your effort here is commendable and certainly fits with the image. Very creative of you to merge these two, the ghostly figure of the little flagman is one that seems vaguely familiar to me....perhaps I have seen him peering thru' my bathroom window once or twice? In all seriousness, I like it! Now quick, into the broom cupboard with you....they'll never find you in there! cheers, Beks

The title, the image and the poem goes perfectly. It does give an eerie feel. Very nice work my friend. Regards, Ahmed

Nahhh... the poem was written strictly for the photo.
But you'll know I was lying once you hear about me going postal on the evening news... LOL

Yes, Shirley, I did write that. Just wanted to do something eerie. As I said, both images are macros that I shot yesterday. One, a weed skeleton and the "man in the window" is an antique Lionel train toy that has a little flagman looking out the little window of his shack...
After messing with the two images, it just reminded me of something like a nightmare. And then my feeble attempt at poetry, which I find atrocious..... LOL

My dear Dave, did you write this poem? If so, it tears at the soul! A very strong and emotive nightmare photo. You are now letting your dark side come to the fore...;)
