Great shot, Dave!! You should get an award for this one!! I've seen so many photos of this old fishing vessel and they always seem to win some kind of award. I'm glad you were able to visit this area... it is one of my favorite places to visit on the N. Calif. coast because of it's peaceful, uncrowded atmosphere and great landscape. Hope you get the opportunity to return again one day. We may be up there around Thanksgiving this year for a few days. 7+++ Warm regards, Brigitte

Very emotive that too... as all the old ruined and rusty things, a boat in that way is perfect and you get it nicely, the frond really trying to be into my room from my monitor because of the point of view. Very nice...

Believe it or not, you have a tad bit of the look of Stephen King in this photo. Maybe you should show us what you REALLY look like!;)

Thanks, Shirley... yes, that is me... however, heavily photoshopped (burning & color changes)... I really don't look much like that.

The subtle colours of decay make for a fine image. This one should look even better in years to come and knowing your enthusiasm for history we'll probably get to see the sequel shot on UF. Regards, Gary

Welcome back, Dave...hope you had a good time anyway. This is a great photo of the old tug.
What's with the profile photo...is that really you? If so, you look like a homeless guy in that picture.
