Hi Guido, thanks for the comment. Yes, The grasshopper ha an exosceleton which can only strtch up to a certain size. it goes through series of moults (2-4 times) to reach maturity. If you look closely you will see that even the fine hairs on the body is part of this.Kind regards.

Hi Peter, you are right, this is the last moult. My photo "Grasshopper" was taken of a fully grown specimen. I also took some photos of two mating, which I will upload in time. Thanks for the comment and take care.
