About This is the second of the pair, taken from the opposite end of the shop. I wanted to get that red umbrella in, and that meant using the fisheye, nothing else wide enough. This time I left the tell-tale curves in place. I don't think I could have let the stem of the umbrella stay curved, but fortunately it runs through the cente of the image, and such lines don't get curved...

Hi Roger
I simply love this Capture!
Interesting things on street shop and covering big umbrella on top.
Cheers
Dhimant

Thank you for reminding me, Ellen. I needed that. "No answer" was the stern reply. But then a major panic at the office took my mind off it and I've been extremely busy. Now I have to decide how to follow up... Soon!

Splendid sight Roger. I'm playing catch up. How's it going with the cat nabbers?

I prefer this one Roger. The umbrella makes the shot in this colourful composition. Well see and taken..All the best....Ray

Yes, Rob. The problem this time was flare from a bright area in the extreme upper right. I couldn't get the contrast I needed within the scene because of that. I think this makes the other shot (even if on the dark side overall) better technically than this one, although this one is perhaps more visually interesting with that big umbrella...

Very smart to place the stem in the center. Now it is an attractive view even witht th f.Y phenomenon. You had troubles with the lighting I can tell, which is a drwasback of wider angle lenses to pick up a wide range of contrasts.
I like it still.
