About ...said the spider to the fly. That's how it felt when I walked down these steps at our local park. It's probably intended to support Wisteria or some climbing plant... That splash of colour at upper left is a set of "carp" streamers to mark boy's day. Boys are supposed to be encouraged to swim against the stream like carp returning to their breeding grounds.

I'm not into MP3 myself, my hearing is too bad to enjoy music much any more, but I've loaned the CD to my computer programmer (a charismatic Christian from the Philippines) and I'll ask him to run off some MP3 samples for you. I'd be interested to hear anything of the kind from you.

Yeah, Roger, I think that's what it's for. I hope to be back next year to see what's growing there! Thanks for explaining about the toning on that cute little girl's face. I still wonder why you left it, that is, why you thought it better like it is. To my perverse way of thinking, if the pinky sepia had been kept for the skin tones I could have understood it better. It just puzzled, and still puzzles, me. Sorry to be a nit picker about such a beautiful capture. You're kind even to reply! Much appreciated.

Yes, indeed, Roger. It would be interesting to hear some!
Perhaps e-mail me some mp3 samples at my main e-mail address: chrisspracklen@btopenworld.com.
If you're interested I could send you some samples of my music!!

Yes, Chris. I do indeed get it. A group that originated in our church released a CD last year called "Unity" based on new Christian songs from the young people of many denominations and traditions. There are some GREAT lyrics and melodies and the whole CD is incredibly creative and orginal. But they're so VERY Japanese that I fear they would have less appeal outside Japan. Would you like some samples?

Very good sharpness and detail, Roger.
The combination of the steps and frame help the viewer to make the journey down themselves.
Kind regards, Chris
P.S. I wrote a song once that said: "I'm like an eagle trying to fly against the wind, a fish that's trying to swim against the tide. Often I'm exhausted and I want to give in, but then You come and You give me a ride." Get it?!
