Nice view, well caught, I like this one ! Kodak Gold looks really good. Used Supra 400 for Paris and was very contented (Rue des Ursins)with the basic tone.

Hi Roger, I wasn't thinking of angling the camera up/down, Maybe half a yard backwards might have done the trick. The image is so nice anyway, its hardly worth the space to argue about.
I look forward to seeing the 120 film next week.

Keith, the Widelux HAS to be held level, and can't be angled up or down the slightest (or you get curved horizons!). So I couldn't get the edge of the pond in. But the very much wider angle coverage of the Voyageur should include this--may make Fuji look like a pimple, though. I'll be getting the 120 film back on Friday and working on the shots Sat and Sun.

Hi Roger, its been a while since I saw a good panarama, now that need is satisfied ;-)
A very beautiful garden and the panorama format really does suit this well. One small point, and I guess this may have been lost in the scan, but I would have perferred to have seen the edge of the lake in the foreground in frame. That would have just finished off the composition.
Good to see your submissions again.

Yes, Chris. The thatch was to protect the stuff being processed by the water wheel (a working device, not just decorative).

Stunning shot of a spectacular garden, Roger! So much to interest the eye in this fine panorama. Best regards, Chris P.S. Is that a thatched roof above the water wheel?
