Very paiting like scene... wonderful tones and black&white contrast... wish if it was sharper.. yet I love the graphite and charcoal effect

Sylvia, thanks for the return answer. I will definitely be there out of season. I am so disappointed that nothing will be green. So maybe I will just shoot black and white. I am going to the Lake District and over to the northeast coast.

Thanks for your comment Toni. I did reply direct to your E mail but I think I should have done it through my photo - anyway the village is called Castle Combe - it is on the Wiltshire border not far from Chippenham and Wells - this was taken out of season as it gets very busy with tourists in the summer.

Beautiful Image Sylvia. The image does look a bit crooked, looks like the scan got wacked out a bit. Buildings seem like there leaning to the left.
