Hello Kim. Glad you liked the roses. They are basically a white rose with a red trim round the tops - very unusual. I didn't grow them myself so can't say what they are called!
Can't see the blue tint at the bottom on my monitor. Could be a shadow on the glass coffee table perhaps?

Thanks for your comments on my roses Dawna. I agree with you that a plain vase would have been better. They were just sitting there on my coffee table and I thought how nice they looked so I dashed off to get my camera and snapped away. It was just a grab shot really. I like your daisy arrangement by the way. It works very well. Keep posting!

Sylvia this is beautiful - love the softness of the flowers and the bg. my suggestion would be to use a plain vase - I think the pattern on it takes away from the simplistic beauty of the image - just my opinion. good stuff you are doing!

Good to see you posting again Sylvia! I don't think I've ever seen white roses with electric pink edging before. I like the glow they have surrounding them... very unique. The bottom right corner seems to have a weird blue hue though... not sure what it is, but it is noticeably different.
