Thanks for all your comments on this photo. Margaret, I used to use FP4 developed in ID11 1+1 but lately I have been experimenting with Pyro and also using HP5 downrated and developed in Perceptol which makes it almost grain-free. I use all sorts of paper - mostly Jessops sold in their stores over here - but I also use Ilford Multigrade and Kentmere. My favourite paper is Seagull Oriental which gives superb results ( made in Japan, I think), however it is very expensive and not easy to get hold of locally. I would like to use more fibre paper but find it very hard to flatten so I opt for the easier resin-coated usually. I have printed the picture The Village High Street on to silver paper on the computer as well and it is a strange and unusual effect. Look forward to seeing more of your images.

Beautiful image Sylvia...trees and fog...what else could be more serene. The composition and exposure are right on. What do you develop your film with and what paper/chemicals did you use for printing. Keep them coming..love your work *smile*...Maggie

Mist is always a great element in a forest shot. You used it to your advantage here. Great lines and depth.
