About On the suggestion of a couple of people here I did a rework of an old project I did and posted here years ago when Usefilm first started. I enlarged the orignal and made it brighter. I also reduced the bug to make it more insect bug like. Hope you get a chuckle out of it. Thank you to all who take the time to view and comment on this or any of my other images. Your comments are very much appreciated. Cheers - Ann :)

There are some other funny ones in here Chris. After I asked about a popcorn photo one day someone directed me to the adult section where he had posted a photo of popcorn there for no other reason than "to mess with people's minds" so I posted a reply calling it "hard corn" I really enjoy a good play on words. Thanks for dropping by. Cheers - Ann :)

A chuckle, indeed, Ann! )
I liked the 'wedding buffet', too!
Great hunour!
I didn't know that Volkswagen Beetle had the nickname 'bug' until I heard an American comedian do a routine that mentioned a 'bug' and its shortcoming ~ such as it's rather puny horn!!
Thanks for your comment.
Kind regards, Chris

I am so glad I stumbled onto this on the front page...first and foremost which deserves a CONGRATULATIONS!! You are so helpful ALWAYS and I enjoy reading your comments so much! You bring a smile to my face :).
This image is so cute and clever! I did something of this nature with lilypads and the kids....fun, fun, fun! And another of 'Miss Trouble Maker' when she was a baby ~ I made the rest of the kids small and 'fearful'! Maybe if I come across it, I will post it. NOT near as nice looking as you have here, but it was all in fun when I was just starting on photoshop! :)
I just love your images and I am going to search for the old portfolio...that is too bad that has happened, but I am glad I found out about it!
Congratulations again, Ann!!

Thanks Ray but don't do any inquiring on my behalf with regards to the membership thingy. I've already posted about it in the forum and brought it to admin's attention and they have replied to me already. It's no big deal. Doesn't bother me unless it bothers them so no need to bother them with it again. I merely mentioned it in passing because people think I'm new to Usefilm when I've actually been a mamber since its inception. (just haven't been active due to travelling) Cheers - Ann :)

Thanks for stopping by Don, I wouldn't just buy any filter. I would definately make sure a filter was compatible with my camera before I buy anything. I did check out that site but I would rather go to a store and look at them before making any decisions. That way I know it's going to work with my camera. I have some research to do as far as how to use them goes before I buy one though. Thanks for the info. Cheers - Ann :)

That is neat Ann, Great title and image.. Very creative.
Ann, do you live in California? Look up www.photofilter.com and see the IR filters listed there. Before you buy one be sure that it will work on your camera. I have a friend that has Canon and he tried my filter the other day but not sure of the results. Do some checking before you buy as they are rather expensive. Thanks, Don.

Same ID, same name, same login, same p/word. Don't know what happened. I only have a few images there now but you can do a search for Ann Nida and 2 profiles will come up. The old one will be at the top. Can't understand why only a few images stayed but the others disappeared. I would have expected them all to be gone after no activity for so long. Oh well...not to worry. No big deal. Just one of those Halloween mysteries I guess. Thanks for stopping by. Cheers - Ann :)

No worries Larry...I haven't heard the term "rimshot" before. Sorry I missed it. (gotta cut me some slack - aussie/US translation problems at times) Cheers - Ann :)

Larry Donnelly Larry Donnelly   {K:644} 10/29/2005
I was giving you good natured grief for inserting the VW bug... I had a good laugh. A rimshot is a term for the sound effect of a crashing cymbal after a play on words or pun such as your title is uttered. I like your work alot sorry for the miscue.

Thanks cessy. I wasn't really happy with the shadow either but I just got tired of playing with that shadow so I posted it anyway. I liked the shadow in my original better but I jsut couldn't get it right in this one. I didn't even think to dull the bright window in the car so good catch there on your part and no I don't mind people making enhancements to my iamges at all. It's all about learning. Thanks again. Cheers - Ann :)

hehehe.. nice pic, clever idea :)
nice work, Ann
the 'bug' still looks like stick on there, maybe could be more natural : the shadow on the car seems not in the same direction like the one on the flower, and the window still too white, imho.
I hope you don't mind, I tried a work a little bit, though not really sure also whether it's correct or not :)

Thank you Kathy. I joined at the very beginning but haven't been active due to extensive travelling over the years but I always popped in and out of the chat room when I could. I'm actually member #34 but when I recently got a base and stable internet I became more active posting an image every day for the last few weeks only to find I have 2 memberships now. I didn't rejoin. I used my same login and P/word. Must have been a bug (pardon the pun) in the system. I've just been posting to the new membership but the old one is still there. If you do a seasrch on my name you'll find a few of my old images when they had to be made much smaller. The rest have disappeared off the site. Funny that a few stayed and the rest are gone. No biggy though. Sorry this is so wordy. Cheers - Ann :)
