About
It was a cool, bright autumn morning. I used my macro lens as a telephoto to bring the distant rim of mountains a little closer. We live at the crossing of two major arms of Japan's electrical super-grid. Hence all the pylons. You can see the flood plain, the levee, and the houses crowded behind it, trusting it will hold.
An excellent photo, Roger. Lots of interest here -mountains, people, architecture, levee, and a glimpse of a Japanese industrial landscape. A very good perspective, from the railed pathway, leading the eye into the scene. 7.
Thanks, Cessy. It IS grainy, isn't it. I checked back and found that the 400 ISO in my information was an error. This was actually 800 ISO (I ran out of 400 and used one of my winter stock of 800 ISO cassettes). I've corrected it now. I so rarely use telephoto lenses and was quite pleased with this shot but it isn't attracting much interest...
