About An hour or so out of Tokyo lies the cement city of Chichibu, also famous for fields of this rather special cherry blossom. My triptych uses three different focal lengths; here, 16mm fisheye.

Amgelo: If you click on my "Image Summary" and then select the "Toy Camera" folder you will see 58 photos taken with the Sharp mobile phone. There are a few landscapes and even one or two panoramas! (It's not the ideal camera for them, but it does show that it's possible.) Thanks for visiting...

Beautiful colours, Roger. You have captured the scene and the setting, with all the human movement, very well. Good use of wide angle perspective to show the relationship between all the elements (man, field, mountains).

Where are your other photos with the mobile phone? I think I only ever saw the one of the girls.

Wonderful scene!
Unusual colours with a great panorama in the background.
I tried to crop it several time to see if it gives a stronger panorama effect with a 6x12 or 6x17 ratio but you format is the best ;)

Bye

Yes, Linda, thanks. "Getting it all in" is the main attraction in super-wide angles (anything wider than 28mm lenses--without FL multiplication). But it can be rather difficult to handle the very wide angles, especially the fisheyes, with their strange curvy renderings... lots of fun along the way as you learn, though.

Just wonder why you use Superia 800 instead of just 200 for a finer detail. Having said that fr this size of photo it does not really matter.
I like the very wide angle shot with the angle of shot and all its details. Nice color patterns too.
