Yes, Carlos. As you can see from my enthusiastic reaction to Lily's suggestion, I may not be able to do it myself, but I recognize it when someone else has done the right thing.

I really like this picture Roger, the feeling... A lovely wistful mood here? And I REALLY like what Lily did, how she zeroed in on the important and eliminated the rest. And the elegant framing she added also perfect. Turned your fine fine shot into an art piece. Identifying the ?important? in a shot, applying thoughtful cropping is important.

Wow, Lily! That's so different and so good... thanks. I think framing/cropping is something I really need to work at. That would never have occurred to me. My instinct is to "get everything in," not zoom in and select.

Artistic B/W. I love the birds lined up like that and also the morning mist and the silhouettes peeking behind it. The silver river is a nice touch but I wonder if the bottom most foliage is competing with the rest of the picture. Here's a crop I tried. I hope you don't mind.

Agreement b/w is best suitable. Doing it in color degrades it even IMO. The gray tones are very good. Nice sharp picture. Rob.
