Thank you all for taking the time to view my image and for your kind comments.
Stefan I too wanted a different perspective but I had to climb up onto the roof of a truck to get this shot and I couldn't move the truck to get into a better position to get the fog fading into the background like this one. Guess I'll have to get my truck licence so I can take better photos huh. ;) Thank you for your comment. Cheers - Ann :)

I've been looking for ways to play with fog lately as well. I like this - wondering what a less straight-on shot would look like.

Thank you Ray and Baha for your berry kind comments. :)
Bob I too lived in the Mojave Desert (California City near Edwards AFB) for 6 years so I know it was a treat to get the occasional fog there but when it did fog over it was great with those eerie hills in the distance. Always looked like a scene from a sci fi movie. Thank you for your kind comments. Cheers - Ann :)

Love foggy pictures... You've done a great job at capturing the mystique that I think fog adds to a scene. I don't see much fog here in the desert - sometimes after a good rain (of course, don't see much of that either :-) )
Best regards, Bob

Excellent fog image, I thought it was vineyards! I could never shoot fog, I greatly admire people who do! Fantastic - it looks heavy, palpable!

Thanks for your comment Gary. I must have taken a couple of dozen shots. It was straight into the sun so many of them came out over exposed and some under but I kept changing the numbers until I got one I was happy with. Obviously it was too cold for the ice cream so it's all yours. :)

i,too, love the moodiness of fog images and here in western WA state we get quite a bit just before sunrise and then again in the evening in some low spots which is like driving blind! The wide format suits this image and i like the spots of green here n' there within the fog Look forward to seeing more fog shots,Ann regards, gayle

Hi Kathy, Yes these are Marionberries and they are right here in my backyard on the farm. I've been to Bend and plan to visit there again soon. That is over on the east side of the mountain ranges. I'm in the middle between the east mountain range and the coastal mountains in the Willamette Valley. It's a farming area and there are lots of tree farms and many of them are turning beautiful colours now. I thought it might be nice to try to get gold and red trees against a fog but I don't know how or if that would work. Just need to get out there and try it I guess then I'll know. Thanks for your comment and kind words. Cheers - Ann

I love fog shots, Ann! I really hope that you do get some more of them! I really like the feeling that this conveys. What kind of blackberries are these? Marionberries maybe? My daughter lives in Oregon...Bend. Is that far from you? Kathy
