great shot, Brad. I love the soft focus on the web & the muted colours. And the lighting is amazing. So well done.

Wow, you take us right down the spider's hole with this shot! Great macro, I like the DOF with the disappearing spider legs on either side of it, and those great background colors.

Great macro shot of this spider Bradley, love the angle and composition to include the web in the foreground. I'd hate to be that close to this spider!

Thanks Doc! I'm really not happy with the DOF being so limited, it's because I was using a set of close-up lenses, which really limit the focal range. I liked the drama though, and I'm glad you like it too!

Dear Bradley, all I can say is stunning! The DoF is unbelievable. The saturation is optimal- enough to attract and scare, simultaneously. What a portfolio.

Great shot Brad, the dof is just perfect. Even though this is a creepy critter the way you shot it makes it appear more peaceful and friendly. Well done~

That critter is huge and just look at the thickness of that web. You have really captured the strength of both, Brad. She made a decision as my 'mare' did, when the other night, she did shave her legs and then came to the conclusion "Did I shaved my legs for this?"
