About This shot Taken just before the last one I posted. He sat on this stump and looked and listened. He detected a noise and was checking it out. Seconds later he sprung into the air and pounced on the mouse which was probably also out looking for food. Kinda like being blindsided in a grocery store ;-)

A great picture Jim. Like the way he has his head tilted. Not paying any attention to you. Don.

Thank you so much for your comment. As I told Tim, I just carry the camera all the time and shoot everthing, then sort it out !! ;-)

Once I discovered my love of photography, I am never more than a few feet from a camera. look at the previous shot where he is airborne leaping on a mouse. I can go for days without a shot, but if the opportunity is there I need to be ready.
