About This truly was a Lucky shot, I was Putting my gear away and turned around and this guy was taking off from his perch, I got one shot off of this juvenile Red Tail and was lucky enough to get good focus and detail....

An outstanding bird shot ! Why not try out a square format for him ? When you place him slightly on the left side there, to have enough space in flight direction you get a nice diagonal also. Just an idea, hope you dont mind

Awesome capture, I love this kind of pose when the wings and tail feathers are fanned like that, the focus is perfect and the details are wonderful..I've had some of my work be like that too, you just take one shot and it's perfect...love it when that happens, and wish it would happen more often, but all of yours look like that Marcus, perfect title...always enjoy your images..I love the muted greys and blues in the background..great work...:):)Linda
